It easily cleans pet hair and small debris on this surface type, not to mention most bulky material, with no significant loss in suction performance as its dustbin fills up. I also love the fact that all I have to do is put it back on the stand and press the clean button. There are a couple down sides to this though. One is that you have to use the bissell cleaner designed for it. If you use any cleaner other than the Bissell cleaner there will be soapy foam on your floor.
