WebSep 21, 2024 · You left it on the rack too long and it spoiled, same as if you picked it up immediately after it finished drying and were holding it in your bag. It must be a bug that it shows as unspoiled and remains directly edible basically forever if you leave it there, as I can't imagine they intended it to be that way. WebAll the meat that were on the drying rack (without progression icon) are gone. Just empty hooks! I’ve reload the save a few times. Did not work. Is this a confirmed bug? Is there any workaround? I have abandoned my save as of right now cuz that was pretty game breaking for me. Really hope for a solution to get back to this amazing game. 3

Meat will never dry when it's raining, and even when it started drying - when the rain comes, the drying timer will reset. Doesn't happen under a frame with roof. #3

WebYes. If it’s raining, the meat will not dry. Make sure the rack is under cover. Rain will reverse the drying process. Hm. I never noticed that it did. Then again, I've never built one, only used ones in the tribal villages. Wood and Bamboo smokers have a bug with the .2 animal update where they stop working you build a roof over or near a smoker.
